I am finally making the time to write. And the first thing that comes to mind is not to brag about the things that have worked for me as a teacher but rather the thought that I am so grateful for so many things!
Among lots of others, I am grateful for all the inspiring people and ideas that have crossed my path. I am grateful that I can connect with a few of them in one way or another. I am so incredibly grateful for all the learning I have been able to do while being a called a teacher.
And so it makes sense that I start this writing journey acknowledging my gratitude.

Thank you, gracias, merci, obrigada… for inspiring me, for connecting with me and making me feel significant, and for helping me learn so much from you and with you.
Through this process of journaling, I know that I will more deeply reflect on the things that I do, how I do them and, most importantly, why I do them.
So many times I have thought “I am just a teacher”. Yet, it becomes clearer every day that I have this ‘super power’ to change people’s lives for the better because I chose this profession. How exciting that is!
In this space, I will aim to share my thoughts on learning and I hope to do the same so many of you have already done for me: help me become a better person and, as a result, be a better guide to other people’s learning journeys.
